Found over on http://www.art.com, these wall murals are the bees knees. Selling for $125.oo a piece, these murals are a bit on the pricey side. But, they add to a trend I have noticed recently. Geek culture, while being mainstream for a while now, is becoming fashionable and classy. There is no doubt that these three prints are works of art and deserve a place on the wall with every other painting or print that has been selling for years. Hit the links for the order page for each individual print. Fantastic Four, Thor, Spiderman.
Hands up if you know who Old Greg is. If you do not you will click this link immediately and have your world officially rocked by the awesomeness of the Mighty Boosh! Crafster user warheart has made this amazing Old Greg! The accuracy is crazy. She even included a bottle of Bailey’s! Hit her link and check out her work.
Youtube user meekakitty has uploaded this special treat for Star Trek fans; a cute girl who seems to know her shit when it comes to the Trek. I love James Tiberius as much as the next guy but have never been into Star Trek. I am firmly on the dark side of the force in nerdy “Star” things. But I know lots of geeks are into Star Trek way more so check it out.
The above apron is available from http://www.bethanysewandsew.com/ . She also has a ton of cool patterns for other really geeky aprons. Check her stuff out.
This shirt is pretty goddamn sweet.

The Toy Fair of London was today and Bandai had a first look at the character designs for the new Thundercats. I fucking love it. There. That’s it. Now, I also may be a tad biased as Thundercats IS and will always be MY 80’s cartoon. I was a little too young to truly be crazy for Transformers, a little too straight for He-man 😉 and G.I. Joe…I mean seriously people. Why does anyone fucking like G.I. Joe, but I digress. Back to the Thundercats. I love that Panthro looks like he stole the syringes of every baseball player dosing right now and took all the shots himself. Cheetara somehow looks like some young female out of a henati that is going to be accosted by the first tree she walks by and I could not be happier. Above all else though I think Lion-O looks fantastic, I know a lot of people are going to think he looks too young, but if you remember correctly he is supposed to be a child that gets rapidly aged into adolescence and I think they did an amazing job making him look young. Overall I think it looks great I am extremely stoked, oh I did not bother showing the toys because quite frankly they look like french fried asshole.
This new picture of the “Spiderman” costume for the new and improved (by improved I mean more Twilighty) Spiderman movie has hit the interspace and… by the chin of Bruce the Great shoot me now. This suit looks like it was designed for the 1970’s live action tv show in a drug induced writing binge but no one sobered up in time to realize it’s awful. The net is aflame with people saying they love it because it has that “Ben Reilly” feel to it. HAS THE PLANET GONE FUCKING MAD. Am I the only person that remembers that the clone saga was absolutely dreadful. There are certain things it’s ok the feel nostalgic about, the clone saga is not one of those things. Ben Reilly was an ass, I pray to Vishnu that this suit disintegrates just like he did.
This young man, who quite resembles Harry Potter, has made a video of himself playing the Tetris theme on an Ocarina IN GAME! That is a level of geekery that is damn near incomprehensible.

Cosmetics company MAC are teaming up with DC to release a line of product featuring the likeness of Wonder Woman. From what I understand, MAC is a good company. The fact that their promo artwork is done by the fantastic Mike Allred is certainly a step in the right direction. Hit the link to see all the product.
